ANDY ABRAHAM – FRIDAY 28th NOVEMBER 2008.
MILTON KEYNES STABLES.

What were you doing on Friday night? I bet it won’t top what Mark and I did! No rude answers please! We went to see Andy Abraham at the Stables in Milton Keynes. Was he good? No! Was he fantastic? No! Was he absolutely amazing? Oh yes!
He sang many great hits, which inluded: 'When a Man Loves a Woman', 'No One Could Love You Half as Much as Me', 'Me and Mrs Jones' and 'Hang Up' - from his successful debut album - ''The Impossible Dream.'' I would say that he’s as good live, if not better, than the recorded versions.
As well as having an incredible singing voice, he is the most unassuming man I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He spent an hour and a half after the show chatting to fans and signing CDs.

His band could also give ‘The Shadows’ a run for their money on their own! I must give a special mention to Karl, his saxophonist. Wow – just incredible. I have just one criticism – we didn’t hear enough of Karl – a complete sax solo would have been the icing on the cake!
In my opinion, Andy is the most understated performer that this century has produced so far!
I fully recommend you catch his tour; full details of which are on his website. Just click here to go to his Website.
Hopefully, after he’s finished his tour we will be able to get him on our show again and this time we’ll ask him to sing a song too.

And Mark thought it was a brilliant evening and can't wait to see him back in our area to watch him again! One of Mark's highlights of 2008 was seeing Andy live. He is such a really nice guy and he wants to say thank you so much to his lovely wife, Denise, for helping us put this together and putting up with him! We hope Andy and Denise see this report and look forward to their comments on the evening...
