We celebrated our first birthday with a big listener party on Friday, February 8th at Harborough's Copperfield Hotel!

Hundreds of people were there, including our presenters, listeners and advertisers.

It was a great night of entertainment, including performances by Evelyn Brink, who appeared on TV's One and Only as Madonna, local singer Robin Maughan, magician Rob Lupine and even some of the HFM presenters!

We also had an on-air celebration on the Sunday, our actual birthday, with all the presenters having a party here at HFM Towers. The special guest was Eva-Winston Hart, who officially launched the station in February 2007. Click here to see the pictures.

After discussions with Richard on Sunday 10th (2 days later) he said to me 'Did we really do that?! I don't remember it that well! We look like we know what we doing don't we Mark.' *Nudge*'

 

 

Now would you believe these are 2 of the highest positioned members of HFM? On the left Chris Jones, our Programmes Controller and  Moley (Barry Badger) who is the staiton Manager! They are rocking to Status Quo's - Rockin' All Over The World with their blow-ups!

 

 

This is from Sunday 10th February which was the official birthday of HFM, Mark and Nina doing their stint live on air for 10 minutes. They looked back over the year they have had and the guests they have interviewed and met. They played 3 of their favourite songs and finished on a rocker by Status Quo as a reminder of the party... Mr Oliff knows what I'm on about!
