3rd Show - 24th Feb....Still there!!
Well this was our third show and we don't know how, but we're still there!! Even Nick said to us 'Well 3rd show and you're still here! How does it feel??'
This weeks show was extra special as we had yet another celebrity guest on our show from America....

We were privileged to have such a special guest on our show! It was a voice-over from that brilliant comedy, The Simpson's, and it was Marcia Wallace who does the voice of Edna Krabappel - Bart Simpson's Teacher. If you would like to find out more about her then click HERE to go to her website. She was a brilliant guest and both Nina and Mark enjoyed interviewing her live on the phone from America.... not sure what Chris will think when he see's the telephone bill!! It was only 10 minutes! She told us all about how she got into show business right up to when the launch of the new Simpson's Movie is going to be. If you would like a copy of the interview then please contact Mark and Nina via the 'Contact Us' page and reguest it using the form or contact them via the email address. Also click HERE to see Marcia's comments about being on Mark and Nina's show! The phones were a lot busier this week! We had 6 callers for the lyric competition. The lyrics to which were:
'One dream one soul, one prize
One goal, one golden glance of what should be'

Now thanks to all 6 people who entered the competition and guessed the song and artist correctly. It was, of course, Queen and It's a Kind of Magic. Now the winner was Gwen from Market Harborough who rang in about 1 minute before the lines closed, so well done Gwen. She won some Rolf Harris goodies which included, A Rolf Harris T-Shirt and a signed photo and a couple of fun items: a pair of Rolf Harris glasses and beard! Now, Nina and Mark enjoyed this weeks' show due to the overwhelming popularity of the Lyric Competition this week and they thank all their listeners for entering and hope they will take part next week as well!
Now they don't have a celebrity guest for next weeks show (3rd March) so if you do have a suggestion for an English actor/actress or presenter from TV today or from many years ago, then get in CONTACT with them and let them know! Also if you want them to dedicate their show to anyone then send all the details on the form at the bottom of the Contact Us page. It can be someone who has done you a good deed whether it be a stranger or family member - anyone you feel deserves a mention.
Tune in to next weeks' show for another legendry lyric competition as well as more laughs, fun and great music on the station where we are 'Proud to be Local', Market Harborough's 102.3 HFM
